Grave 38

The inscription is fully delaminate

We do not know where this headstone belongs within the burial ground. For some time it has lain at the far end against the neighbouring house, but which grave it originally marked is completely unclear. Also why it is so much narrower than all other headstones is a mystery.

No inscription is visible any more, only the Cohen hands in their gesture of blessing, the symbol of the priestly Cohen tribe, remains.

Our plan is to keep this within the cottage as part of our display.
